Paolo Comentale nasce a Bari nell’aprile del 1956. Fonda nel 1988 la Casa di Pulcinella primo spazio in Italia dedicato alla celebre maschera. Scrive libri per bambini tradotti in varie lingue. Dal 2018 scrive racconti basati su avvenimenti storici. L’ultimo libro scritto è sull’eccidio di Bari del 28 luglio 1943: La Bellezza e il Coraggio.
